Silver Desert Championship Number of members attending: 20 Number of non-members attending: 15 Total attending: 35
Brief description on the event:
We all gathered at Deer Part in Sparks, Nevada to celebrate our Silver Desert Championship event. We started gathering at 9:00 am and the event wound down around 5:00 pm
Traditionally we hold contests that are designed to allow anyone attending to become Champion. This year 18 people entered one or more of the following contests:
Bardic about barding - (Camel or other) Middle Eastern Dessert Stick Camel/Horse Racing Trivia Heavy Fighting – Swiss Round with weird weapons Board game - Pachisi Stick Camel or Stuffed Toy Barding
Congratulations to Connor MacAufflie FitzJames who is this year's Silver Desert Champion.
Everyone who attended said they had a wonderful time and they are looking forward to next years Championship

Agincourt Oct. 22nd
Thank you to everyone who came out and to all the visitors from the Sacramento area and beyond that came to play. We had a really wonderful time. Thank you to Amaryllis and Theresa for organizing the breakfast and to all who helped them (I saw Saxi cooking up pancakes.). We walked miles today, but the duck was finally hit, the crown knocked from the Royalty's head, The knight shot through the eye slot; and we had much laughter. We had 28 Adult attendees and three youth.
The donations brought in were $85. Thank you for giving generously. Final tally will be done after I get the receipts for reimbursement, but our rough on the field count is a cost for breakfast of about $50. The victor for the day was Seamus of the Silver Desert With two wins and a third. Until next year!
